    MOHAMMAD JON RAMLAN
    Director / DOP

    Jon had been a media practitioner for more than 20 years. His work encompasses almost all aspects in media production, from conceptualization to direction to production and post, and had recently been a technical consultant. He was also a lecturer to some of the premier educational institutions for media and the arts namely, AIT Academy; Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore; Lasalle-Sia College of the Arts; AKINDO (Jogjakarta)- Communication Academy of Indonesia. Film & Television Studies; and the Singapore Malay Photographic Society (Singapore Photographic Society).

    His academic qualifications that include a bachelor's degree in fine arts (Film & TV), several certificates in photography; camerawork; cinematography; graphics design; editing; teaching & learning (La-salle SIA College of the Arts), and an advanced diploma in business management complement his exposure in the industry.

    Jon holds accreditations from various industry-related organizations, such as Golden Key International Honour Society; Australian Cinematography Society (ACS); the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO); American Image Press (AIP); International Professional Managers Association (MPMA); and was a part of the Course Advisory Committee ? Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts (School of Drama). He had been given the Friends of the Arts award 2001 by the National Arts Council - Singapore (NAC); and the 10 Year's Long Service Award by the Television Corporation of Singapore in January 1996.

    His presence in the creative field spans only the last 11 years.Yet his visual techniques and applications have produced various important projects with World Sports Group, ESPN, Suria, Discovery Channel, CNBC, Astro TV to name a few. A man of few words who would rather let his works and ideas do the talking
